Fernando’s Kitchen asked to be main feature band for 3rd year in a row at the biggest regional wine festival in the UK, the Rioja Tapas fantasticas!

14 & 15 July / 1pm – 7pm / London, Pottersfiled park (tower bridge) / entry FREE / Family friendly

We are honoured to be asked for a 3rd year in a row to headline and be the main feature of live music at the Rioja Tapas fantasticas festival, taking place on the 14th & 15th July 2012 at pottersfield park, central London, overlooking the thames river and tower bridge!

In fact this will be our 4rth year in a row that we have been playing at the Tapas fantasticas. The first year we got paid to busk in the street outside of the festival to promote it (it was held in bricklane at that stage) and we not only blocked the whole street but also sold out all our CD’s too! We made such a big impression that one yearlater, we were the headline and feature band for the festival… and still going strong!

A free festival celebrating Rioja wine, Spanish food and lifestyle. Taste a variety of red, white and rosé wines from some of Rioja’s most famous vineyards and sample a selection of tapas from London’s finest Spanish restaurants and gourmet food producers. Listen and dance to the sounds of Fernando’s Kitchen, enjoy on-stage cookery demonstrations and join our experts to learn all about Rioja wines on a wine workshop or walk. Even children can get involved, making the most of the dedicated art and craft area with its very own face painter. Join us for an authentic taste of Spain in the heart of London!

Fernando’s Kitchen is back at the Junction hosting and headlining this fabulous celebration of Nu World music, featuring the full FK 6 piece band plus guest artists and DJ!

featuring Fernando’s Kitchen band, a 6 piece line-up of

spanish guitar, double-bass, oud, flamenco cajon,

percussions, vocals, and trumpet. Fernando’s Kitchen is a

group of multi-cultural musicians, performing their very own

modern Flamenco Latin and North African music, also called

Nu world music, a fusion of passionate guitar and oud

melodies, exciting rhythms and mesmerising vocals.

Fernando’s Kitchen is back at the Richmix following a sell out concert in January earlier this year! Catch them live in one of the most intimate venues in London featuring the Full band!

The group of multi-cultural musicians will be performing their very own modern Flamenco Latin and North African music, also called Nu World music, a fusion of passionate and eclectic sounds from all the corners of the earth and beyond.

Featuring the Fernando’s Kitchen band, a 6 piece line-up of spanish guitar, double-bass, oud, flamenco cajon, percussions, palmas, vocals, and trumpet.

They are also well known for being one of the few completely independant bands that does everything themselves, setting the new trend and inspiring upcoming bands in London to do it independantly, come and see how they pack out and rock a venue all on their own

FK to play at the Biggest regional wine Festival in the UK

London’s award winning celebration of Rioja wine and Spanish food is back and Fernando’s Kitchen has yet again been asked to perform on the main stage on both days of the Festival!

Summer officially begins in London in June as Rioja Tapas Fantasticas returns for two days on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June. The free event will be held at the same fantastic venue as last year – Potters Fields Park – so grab your friends, come down and enjoy the food, drink and great live music!

Over 20,000 people attended last year at Potters Fields Park!

A spectacular variety of red, white and rosé wines from some of Rioja’s most famous vineyards will be available for you to taste as you make your way around the vibrant wine and tapas stalls. Savour a diverse selection of tapas from London’s finest Spanish restaurants who will recreate the famous tapas streets of the Rioja region where you can go from bar to bar sampling a speciality dish and glass of delicious local wine in each.

FK at the London Guitar Festival, London, Royal Festival Hall 3rd June

Fernando’s Kitchen has been asked to perform an hour of their own original music at the renowned London Guitar Festival. The performance will take place in the Royal Festival hall, the Foyer, Level 2.
The full band will be onstage from 1pm – 2pm.

The FK performance will be in the break of the prestigious competition for accoustic guitarist of the year 2011, which will run from 12am – 4pm on the friday afternoon. It will be the 60th Aniversary of this great festival in Britian!

The Fernando’s Kitchen performance is Free entry, a very good reason not to miss this special opportunity!
